what if Mel is a red herring in all this as far as Jon goes? i havent molded the tinfoil completely yet so bear with me. Mel cant rez Jon for whatever reason, after the failed attempt we see the scene where dead Jon is on the table surrounded by Davos & co., the door is being watched presumably by Thornes lackeys and other Free Folk haters. Onion bro and his band of loyal misfits hear a commotion going on outside the door, expect the worst, prepare for a fight. door busts open and its THOROS OF FUCKING MYR WITH A FLAMING SWORD. thats right, the brotherhood without banners has infiltrated castle black. but who told them to? lady goddamn stoneheart. since they didnt have her in the show up to this point, she never went innawoods to have a noose party with all those freys/lannister sympathizers. once everyone is gathered around Jon-Bon-Zombie, she wheezes out her regrets of never treating Jon the way she should have as a boy, relenting her jealousy of Jons mother as the only woman who could make her beloved Ned tarnish his honor because she finally knows the truth of Jons conception (good place to interject some very brief R+L=J hinting for character reactions) she tells everyone in the room save for mel and thoros (maybe davos, cause he's seen some shit) probably a little more sentimental talk about family, starks, The North remembering etc. then she leans in to Jonny Boys face, "I can't take back whats happened, but I can give you the life that was stolen from you. from Robb, from your Father, From our family. Winter has come, Jon. Time to do your duty as a Stark, its time to wake up...son." with that she kisses Jon and breathes into him the life that Beric breathed into her, Jon gasps for air as Cat slumps down into the floor. He immediately drops to his knees to cradle her lifeless body. Everyone is Visibly shaken, relieved, and Terrified all at once as mel starts to explain what happened Jon interjects "I know what happened, m'lady. I saw the whole thing..." as he looks up at ghost, who is padding his way over to them, gives Jon a quick "glad youre back in your own body bro" kinda dog sniff lick combo before smelling Cat, leaning back on his hind legs and letting out a blood curdling bellow of a howl that makes all the crows in the surrounding area stop what they are doing and look around, smash cut to opening credits and applause (tears and screams as well obviously) from the audience in their homes.
