So I spontaneously fell in love with that girl on the train

Your statements here

But whenever someone comes up to me like "hey I just thought you were attractive", it's just a comment about their taste in women and nothing more. It's simply not a basis for any kind of relationship and I don't see why I'd have to hold conversations with inebriated assholes or old creeps just because they cornered me in a train to tell me a toned-down version of "I find you fuckable"

and

it's super creepy when somebody comes talk to you just because they find you fuckable (or pretty or gorgeous or whatever... If you know nothing about her personality it's fucking creepy)

Mention nothing about being on a train, and just say that you think anyone that walks up to a woman to talk to her are creepy. These kinds of statements and attitudes discourage social interaction from men to women. I read that and I'm glad I never have to deal with the pressure of making the first move to introduce myself to a woman I'm attracted to ever again. All this toxic masculinity makes me feel like so many new-age feminists feel like I should hate myself because of my gender.
