I never said it was brilliant. I stated that it is 1:1 control over the ball compared to other sports games. You also assume I don't like other sports games. I do actually annually buy NHL and The Show and enjoy them a lot.

Yes, you do just hit the ball, but how you hit it changes everything. Overspin, underspin, double taps, and plenty of other techniques and skills are used to adjust how the ball gets hit. This creates an incredibly high skill ceiling that many of us, as well as yourself, seem to enjoy.

You are 100% correct, it is not inherently better than other sports games because I like it more. However, the question was asked what we do to play sports on PC. I answered with my opinion. No where in my post did I say that any other opinion is invalid and shouldn't be listened to, I simply shared my excitement for a game I love.

Lag does not make the game any more or less physics based, it simply alters the effect of the strikes. Luckily, most people have low response times and the differences are negligible. This argument also hurts every other sports game though. Trying to take a pitch in The Show online can be a nightmare because of lag.

So I do see that we have differing opinions, but I'm still not sure why you felt the need to attack me over it. I know you will probably respond to this saying I'm thin skinned or "PC kids" are dumb or something along those lines, and if that makes you happy then please let it all out.
