This story hit me pretty hard.

Stan Majors used to post on a BBS that I was webmaster of back in the late 90s. He would write the most crazy and insane things you've pretty much ever seen and was a general nuisance on the board.

Eventually he started stalking an old woman who also posted on the board, threatened her, and she went to the police. So his internet privileges were taken away by the court system and that's the last we heard of him. I don't think any of us realize just how crazy he was for something like this to have happened, but it's upsetting to know someone like that used to interact with you, even over the internet.

It's a shame someone didn't notice how nuts this guy was sooner and do something to get him contained.
