Staying at a startup with no end in sight, however has the possibility to change the world. Would you stay or leave after 8 years? My father is the CEO.

Thanks for your response. And your comment makes perfect sense, however this is where there is another added layer of complexity.

This is something along the lines of what my dad would respond to that :

and keep in mind, its hard for me to explain this stuff myself accurately, I will do the best I can.

1.) All modern current computing methods are based off of Charles Babbage / Church - Turing / Von Neumann principles. These principles and theories are still the ones that are followed till this day. Nothing has evolved for the past 50+ years regarding this. Google, Microsoft, Apple, are all built from these principles. This is still what is taught in schools, with our new evolved principles and computing methods, all academia in current schools will change.

2.) Because computing is still based off these "monolithic" (the term he uses) principles, this is why current computing methods will always have unsolvable problems / limitations / drawbacks.

3.) Under a new architecture (ours), all current security issues, privacy issues will be a thing of the past.

In a sense what my dad is trying to do is bring computing to the next frontier. Sort of like, we went from how before ford made cars, everyone was still getting around, albeit on bikes. Once cars came out, it changed everything. Or....kind of like the industrial revolution.....this will be the computing revolution.

There is so much more to it than just these 3 points but its where it starts.

A few more things he states he has solved :

4.) He has the answer to artificial intelligence / intelligent systems. What this exactly means I dont know, because I am not an engineer so it's hard for me to judge something that is intangible. Its all theory.

5.) Under current conditions, Apps are king. What if I told you there would be no need engineer / program an app anymore? What if your intelligent and better computer / system could write the app for you just by using your natural language?

Again, this is seriously like 1% of the entire project and what he has laid out. But with a promise so big

4.) Currently computers are stupid, they can only do what you tell them to do. This is true. What if I told you I have an intelligent computer that can do things for you just by using natural language?

Currently, our world is dominated by apps. Apps are everything. However, 1 app can only solve 1 problem. Engineering 1 app not only takes an enormous amount of code but you have to keep updating all the time in order to patch security holes and whatever else.

What if I told you, you can use natural language to program an app? One example is, Lets say im on a road trip from california to las vegas. Along the way during my drive I get tired.
