Get strong for the shit storm

Our local economy is already screwed here. It's getting very lopsided due to rampant gentrification, outrageous rent increases for both commercial & residential real estate, increased real estate speculation & house flipping, banks buying up local real estate & bringing in out of state property management agencies, plus inflation. Only places doing well are the ones that cater to the wealthy: overpriced restaurants & dispensaries. Small numbers of out of town or often out of state families wandering up & down the city center, looking for shit to do. That's pretty much it these days. Most restaurants are struggling, as are most small businesses. Way too many vacant storefronts. Lots & lots of homeless. Cops keep clearing their encampments away from the bike paths. Lots of homeless selling homemade jewelry on blankets on sidewalks in the center. People are tense.
