Is this sub socially right wing?

Let me tell you something. I lived most of my life in Texas. You are correct about everything you say. But I'm in the PNW now, and I have never before seen or experienced overt racism (like literal nazis and white supremacists out in the open, organized and with guns, busing in to towns to beat people up, etc) in Texas like I do here. Oregon and Washington state politics (at the state level) are liberal / blue, but that's just because it has a different urban to rural demographic than Texas. One of my first experiences here with racism was when I entered a bar and a group of hooting and hollering drunks started shouting how they are going to call ICE on us terrorists, then they fell into a debate with each other if we were from the place that did 911 or the Boston Marathon bombing. (Surprise we are Indian so neither). The main difference between that experience and similar ones in Texas is that none of the other patrons or staff stood up for us. They all just ignored it. And this wasn't some white supremacist place, it was in a supposedly "liberal" town with that sort of clientele.

My point to you is two fold. First off, the fash is happening everywhere, it just manifests differently in different regions. Second, and more to the point, liberals are insufferable. When I was still in Texas, I would get really annoyed sometimes at "irony bro" types who put a lot of energy into making fun of liberals because it did (does?) honest to god feel there (in Texas) that if we could kick out the Republicans, things would be better, and so we were frequently organizing with liberals- even Hilary types and Obama types. They were the ones working with us to get rid of that kiddie ICE prison, they were sharing ICE raid info, they were the ones fighting along side us against the charter school expansion, and specifically to your point, they were the ones fighting along side the left against all the GOP's assault on women and LGBT people.

But now that I'm here in a blue state, I see what the irony bros have been on about. These people (the liberals) are some of the smuggest, dumbest, most condescending, useless people, and they don't know it about themselves. They are handing the GOP everything, they are enabling it. They are the main obstacle in our way and complete and total hypocrites. They aren't the ones that are actually trying to kill us, but they are the ones opening the doors for the people who are. And they do it from behind their "in this house" signs. They refuse to believe there is any problem so long as the Democrats stay in power, and they refuse to listen to any other explanation. More and more, I've come to hate them. I'm not saying this is healthy or skillful, but I've gotten to where I just cannot stand the arrogance and hypocrisy- they are probably the people in the country with the most baby-brained analysis of politics and they think that it's everyone else who is stupid. It's really hard not to spend your time lashing out at them.

The way that manifests sometimes is to ironically portray their thought process or ironically portray the thought process of the people they think are fighting. Again I'm not saying it's healthy or skillful to do this, but surely this isn't your first day online and you know what it means to "own the libs".
