Tareena Shakil jailed for six years for joining IS

You dodged my question. Did she plan a terrorist attack, like you claimed?

i never said she planned a terrorist attack. if you read my comments, youll see i said "if you plan a terrorist attack in the united states" and described the charges related to doing so.

Why are you comparing this case to a DUI?

im comparing it to a similar charge, child endangerment. that law is solely about people putting their child in danger by driving drunk. Its also child endangerment to join a terrorist organization with your toddler.

Cool, she got 50% more than that.

And commited more crimes. you know, like joining a terrorist organization.

I'm pretty sure they do, which is why she got a fair trial. If you're talking about Guantanamo bay, then you should understand that Guantanamo is highly criticized by first world countries due to the lack of rights.

i hate gitmo more than anybody ive ever met. i understand that gitmo has a lack of rights, thats sorta shy i said "terrorists dont have rights" but thanks for typing it again. i was trying to emphasize how people who had done NOTHING got more than double the prison sentencd of someone who is an actual terrorist.

And that's a good thing?

no, but it gives you an idea of how light this sentencing is.

Ya, that's a problem... Not sure what your point is...

Innocent man: gets 13 years in the most horrible prison imaginable (or close to it) actual terrorist who endangered her childs life: 6 years

Ya, again, that's that's the American way. Every crime apparently deserves life in prison. I like how you say this after advocating that some people don't have rights, and deserve to be locked up for 13+ years without being found guilty. Brilliant!

actually i think most crimes dont deserve life in prison. i hate california old 3 strike policy. Im anti death penalty, and think the current american prison system is among the worst in the world. There are people in america STILL getting arrested on minor drug charges who are getting more prison time than her. Tell me, is the neighborhood pot dealer deserving of a longer prison sentence than a radicalized muslim who joined a genocidal terrorist organization and endangered the life of her toddler by taking him with her? If you say yes to that, you have a very poor set of morals.
