The Temperature of the World since 1850 [OC]

Well, there wasn't a single imperialistic nation in North America, so I can say with absolute and complete certainty that there was no conquering.

There were conflicts, there was crowding out, nations disappeared and went extinct, but the concept of conquering requires the concepts that make up what we call imperialism.

The only thing we even call an empire in North America, the Aztec Empire, wasn't even an Empire.

I don't know what you are smoking in your peace pipe,

The current consensus of archaeologists. I don't know about you, but I usually do listen to the experts of the field, and when they say stuff like, "The bone graveyard at Banff is evidence of a very stable population of millions of buffalo, who must have been culled on a yearly basis to maintain the high level of stability at such a high population. This supports the idea of some tens of millions of people feeding off the herds around the boundaries of their migratory patterns in the western prairies of Canada", or "The large scale burning of forests across North America before colonization to make way for grasslands far exceeds past estimates. Previously it was estimated that America is more forested currently than it was in the past 200 years, but it may more correctly be 2000 years or further judging from the plant fossilization record. The food infrastructure of the grasslands and the grassland herds together with the large scale of the grasslands may indicate a far higher population than historians have noted"

Even the low estimates from archaeologists at current, the population skeptics amoung the archaeologists, estimate 150 million people living in North America before colonization.
