Texas Supreme Court says Houston must repeal ban on discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, or put it on November ballot

First, you need to take a breath and ease on up calling people fanatical, close-minded, bigots because you have literally no idea about any of that with me. If you think that the fact that people find being excluded from public life (via discrimination by businesses) and who take issue with it are all close-minded bigots who are just trying to satisfy some need to be discriminated against, then most people aren't going to give one fuck you think, because, again, you're clearly not the one having to deal with it. You're basically just telling people to take a seat because you don't think their issue is impoartant enough, because somewhere else in the world someone else has it worse.

If you asked any homosexual living in America today whether or not they would trade places with some gay person in Kenya or Nigeria or Pakistan, they would tell you 'fuck no.' Yet here you are, in all of your wisdom, claiming that people here are petty simply because they want equality in their own country.

YOU are the one who is conflating people who have a problem with discrimination in the United States as some drama queens who are claiming that it's some massive human rights abuse. WHO IS DOING THAT?

This is all entirely a construction that you've created in order to be mad about it. As a homosexual, I can tell you, hand to God, that we all know that people in other parts of the world have it worse. We talk about these things. We know about them. We send money and spend time supporting NGOs and LGBT advocacy in countries where our brothers and sisters are being harmed. AT THE SAME TIME, you can still be fired, or lose your housing for being gay in the US, so our work here isn't done either.
