There was a post on here yesterday about an American guy completely misinterpreting his 'friendly' card from his new neighbours. So, just for a laugh on a Wednesday morning, I'd like to share some stories from the last 3 years featuring my 'friendly' neighbour Wendy

I moved to a cul de sac in January, one of our neighbours is so nosy she spends the whole time trying to tell me 'she's not being nosy'. She rang me a while ago to chat about how our roof is concerning her. Whenever we get a big delivery from Wickes ect (we're redoing the garden), there's an absolute nightmare getting the truck up the road as they have 3 cars but only space for one on their driveway so just kind of ditch them going up the road. The level of curtain twitching that occurs if my boyfriend gets home late is insane, you can actually see it! I'm not too worried about my house getting broken into though, as most of our street is an unofficial neighbourhood watch. Drives my next door neighbours mad, I know they are in an unofficial stand off with them, they've said before it would actually make them move/is the only thing they don't like about their house. She hasn't rushed out to talk to me when she's seen me leaving lately, or come and knocked on the door at an inopportune moment, so I've probably annoyed her/them somehow!
