a willingness to do anything....a sociopath can actually hold down a job and even pass as a normal person to most people at a glance. sociopath often have alot of overlap with psychopaths (minimal empathy and little to no concern for the people they use and abuse)

Is this not standard? I assume every single conversation I have with everyone (especially at work) is a chess game where they're looking to exert their will on me and I'm looking to do the same to them. I don't see any rational reason why I wouldn't do anything to forward my own agenda (as long as it works) and I don't see why other people wouldn't be doing the same.
