Those that have 'broken up' with their childhood best friends or another very close friend, what happened? And did you ever make amends?

I’ve known this girl for over 16years we haven’t talked for over 6years, she randomly found me last week messaged me on Instagram asking if I was the person and obv I was, we had a 3hour phone call that night and our feelings basically came back so we decided to give it another go with obv being older we will be more understanding

We was going to meet up after November 22nd ( we have never met)

She recently blocked and called me a mental abuser because I wanted her to send me night and morning messages (it’s the small things in a relationship for me) she also stated the fact “I’m in the same category as the guy who sexually abused her”

So ye 16 years of friendship gone all because I was trying to make it more talkative :(
