Those of you who waited or struggled to get a partner until you were much older, how did you finally meet your first partner?

And keep in mind with the 80:20 rule, the people in the top 1% range are getting HUNDREDS of times as much attention as the people in the 70-80 range.

the top 10% are getting 5-10x as much attention as the people in the 10-20% range.

It's a really steep curve. Even if you're on the line of 80%, you might barely get any attention at all - because people are overwhelmingly try to date people that are more attractive, successful, likable, funny, intelligent and accomplished than they are.

Take a person who is an overall 8 in terms of looks, success, education, personality, etc. Other 8's will ignore them. The other 8's are trying to date 10's. Of course, that 8 is probably trying to date 10's too. The 6's will be trying to date that 8, and that 8 will ignore the 6's.

What's the end result? Almost no one is happy.
