I mean, I probably went a bit rambly with it but I think the point itself is fair enough. And I get it, where I and others might see it as an awkward imbalance of sexualisation and innocence, others might not see that at all, I'm just saying from the broader sphere of Japanese fiction that I've witnessed over the years I could see why Laura's personality could have weird connotations attached.

Maybe it's not the intention and her ditzy-ness and physical appearance comes from a completely innocent place but I've seen enough stuff where that isn't the case to at least have some doubts. I'm not saying you have to agree, it's just a take-away I and some others have had over the years.
