I'm an INFJ-T & he's INFJ-A, and we dated on & off for 3 years. It was our first relationship for both of us, and while we were happy, he would get conflicted by his friends & family.

His family didn't approve of me because of religious differences & they'd always tell him he can do better than me. His friends would want him to party a lot more & thought that he should be out there having sex.

When we were together, we were happy & he always felt like he was free to be himself with me. We lived together & were very comfortable with each other. He didn't want to party even when I told him that he should go hang out with his friends. He'd say he didn't want to be around people getting drunk & making small talk & would use me an excuse to his friends so that they wouldn't try to convince him to go party. But eventually because I was his first girlfriend, he couldn't help but wonder if other girls are better.

The break up was pretty bad for me, but overtime, I moved on & he also had matured. We're actually good friends who talk at least once a month now. :)
