I live with my sister her baby daddy and their almost 3 year old child and holy fuck their parenting annoys the absolute fuck out of me. Inconsistent punishment, straight up bad at trying to teach what words mean because they use sarcasm towards him sometimes like he'll fucking understand. And i just heard them threaten to spank his ass for not eating? Bro its not even 11 am maybe the little guy doesnt want to fucking eat yet why is that a problem?????? Holding in all of my thoughts on the matter is stressful because i really do feel like i would be a much better parent than either of them. He listens to me way more than he does to them as it is. I feel sad watching him get punished for things he doesnt even understand is wrong because they do a shitty job outlining whats allowed vs whats not allowed. So, i guess i just sit back and watch right? Not really shit i can do?
