TIFU by stealing over $2000 from my parents

If you didn't sign any kind of non-disclosure agreements then I don't understand the level of secrecy. I can't tell you anything about my companies finances or about any problems we have at work that could be used against us. I also can't talk about upcoming projects that could benefit competitors to know. I can't tell you how much money I make or the exact breakdown of my total compensation because of the position I am in.

I can tell you I've worked at ford since June 2015. I can tell you that I'm an engineer and do engineer things. I can tell you that when I travel my expenses are paid for by them. I can tell you that I work roughly 10 hours a day 5 days a week and that ford pays me some overtime at a straight time rate beyond 40 hours even though I'm salaried and they are not legally required to. I can tell you that I make a fair wage. I can tell you that the company had me travel to Dearborn Michigan once for a week long conference.

Company secrets involve company details but where I work is public knowledge and my travel isn't a secret unless it involves projects that the company isn't public about yet.
