I know how he feels. I became a regular at the local hospital in the space of one year due to all these boils surfacing on my body. Out of nowhere I got my first boil (which at the time I thought was a pimple) so naturally I tried to pop it. Nothing came out but a bit of blood. Over the next 3 days it gee 3x the size on my thigh and I could feel the meat of the infection. It was huge. I went to the accident and emergency clinic to get it lanced since it was so painful. The doctor immediately agreed to lance it so he applies a numbing spray. For those who haven't used this stuff before, it only numbs the surface -.- He slices the top in an x shape with the scalpel. That was fine. It was when he inserted this scissor looking device into the open wound and pulls it open, stretching the skin and forcing a shit load of puss to erupt out. I was not prepared for that sort of pain and I fainted for a second or two. As soon as I came to, I projectile vomited all over the floor. It was the worst experience (pain wise) I've ever felt. Since then I've had 3 boils on my left rib, 1 on my left shoulder, 1 on my left armpit and 2 on my right forearm which required iv drugs for a week straight. It wasn't til I moved cities that it stopped and haven't had them since.
