How common is it for female 'fitness models' to use steroids?

I live in South Florida...the capital of fitness models and "fitness models". I briefly dated 2 hardbodies, and yeah...steroid usage is surprisingly common.

One girl did fitness model competitions once in a blue moon, but for the most part she worked out for herself. Her day job was as a flight attendant. Looked like Andreia Brazier when she was competing and like Mette Lyngholm when she was taking it easy. She trained like a beast, but she also cycled anabolic steroids.

The other girl never even set foot inside a gym. She used a steady diet of alcohol and cocaine to maintain her physique. Her legs weren't as muscular as Alice Matos, but her upper body was practically a carbon copy. She told me she tried steroids once..."to tone up a bit." And yes...like I said above, she never worked out. Ever.

In both cases, it kinda blew my mind how regular women who don't use fitness as a means to put food on the table were willing to mess with their hormones. I can only imagine what it's like for real athletes who have contracts and sponsorships on the line.

The way I see it...if you need to ask if someone is natural, it's a safe bet that they aren't.
