TIL 'Honorificabilitudinitatibus' is the longest word in the English language featuring only alternating consonants and vowels.

At first I thought "Aren't there much longer words?!"

For example, antidisestablishmentarianism seems to be 1 letter longer!

But then suddenly I saw what you mean!

You're not saying it's the longest word in the English language (and that it also happens to coincidentally have alternative consonants and vowels)...

But rather you're saying it's the longest word you can create in English that contains an alternating pattern of consonants and vowels.

(Why I thought it important to think about this "outloud" by posting an entire Reddit-comment here with my inner thought process that occurred after I read your title... I don't know!)
