It wasn’t so much that I was invested or even liked her that much, it’s that from what he told me from his perspective was that she was as serious about it as he was. The day before breaking up with him she gave him a present she must have spent hours making and told him she couldn’t wait to have his last name. After ending things she left one of his sweatshirts and a one year anniversary present of a collage notebook at my house rather than his despite me suggesting otherwise. She had started the one year anniversary present and made it about ten pages into it during the 24 days that they were dating. It just seemed so fast and I’m not sure what to do to support our friend at this point.
