Do you think a freely available and accessible system will actually and effectively lower overdoses rather than the system that we currently have of people getting their fix from those handing over scrip meds or procuring directly from those on the "streets"... (Higher social stimga and more socially disavowed than acquiring if "totally endorsed by society")... If you make access more free to folks who already abuse your issue will only grow... This isn't an effective strategy... It's not complicated... Giving passive endorsement to the lowest suffering dregs of society does not bring them up but rather only enables them... This is common sense and the counter argument is nothing but ridiculous....
