Nowadays you need to have all the extras in the game like the battlepass, all the extra challenges, cars, better graphics, loads more settings etc otherwise CoD would've really fell off like it almost did as they'd struggle to bring in new people who are used to games having all these things.

Sliding is great, it makes people play more aggro after the snoozefest that was MW2019.

You lose other things by using those attachments, so it isn't a huge issue to me anyway, and if it becomes one they'll balance it. Clearly they're constantly working on updates and the game will get better and better with less bugs, more balancing and more content.
