Yeah, thought I’d throw this here

This idea that SBMM prevents bad players from getting better is nonsense. Contrary to whatever belief this is, you can get better playing against players around your skill level. If you're a good player, and getting matched up against other good players, shouldn't that mean you should also suck it up and get better? In MW, I could see that I was getting better as time went on, and I played against better players. I eventually did hit a ceiling, mainly because I just couldn't dedicate the time to getting better. And even if I did have time, I'd eventually hit another ceiling.

SBMM makes sense conceptually, but the way it is implemented in CW is plain stupid. I hated MW, but I actually liked its implementation of SBMM. As a solo player, my KD was 1.82, and my W/L was 1.95. In CW, my KD is almost 2, and yet my W/L is 1.09. As much as I love fragging, I like winning even more. Everything gets thrown out the window when it comes to matchmaking in this game, especially when you've done well for a few games. It throws you into games with with awful connection to host, and will consistently throw you in against 5-6 man stacks that fucking comm in TDM to spawn trap, and you are clearly paired up with teammates that just shouldn't be in that lobby. Maybe it's just me, but it never felt that way in MW. The games were much closer, with less stomping, and it felt like teams were more balanced.
