Trump is having tea right now with the Saudi King. “Who blew up the World Trade Center?” “It wasn’t the Iraqis, it was Saudi — take a look at Saudi Arabia, open the documents,” Trump continued. This alone should be enough to make supporters question his intentions.

This is a simpleton's perspective, this whole idea that he's a hypocrite for being diplomatic with Saudi Arabia despite thinking they, as in a particular group and not the whole F'ing country, were behind 9/11.

First and foremost, Trump tried his best to have the towers rebuilt himself and even wanted them to be rebuilt the same way but bigger to show that American stays strong regardless. He had models for it and everything and was upset when they went with the other design instead, despite the fact that Trump's plan was more popular in polling.

Secondly, look at Trump's cabinet and how they voted on JASTA. There has been some changes to his group but last time I checked I couldn't find a single person in his group who voted NO against JASTA, which held Saudi Arabia responsible for 9/11 and allowed victims families to sue the Saudi government. Sound like hypocrisy to you?

Third, no one really talks about this but the Saudi have essentially admitted their guilt in association to 9/11, recognizing how they allowed extremism to grow and obtain funding... and what use would it do now to destroy our deeply interconnected relations with the Saudi government? It wouldn't be good for us or them, so for the sake of diplomacy and well-being we've kept the relations ongoing.

And the reality is this, it wasn't just Saudi Arabia, it was out fault, too. We allowed 9/11 to happen. NORAD stood down. This was a deul conspiracy.
