My background:

The politically dogmatic of the far left and right believe the following -

Extreme liberals - Trump is a Russian agent, Hitler reborn and anything else. Facts, statements will be used to "confirm" what is already true.

Extreme Trump supporters - Trump is fighting against the deep state. All news against him is fake and the whole world is against him.

Here is my view on Comey:

• Comey is a political beast. Forever thinking of himself and how to save his ass.

• Comey appeared very weak. Being afraid of Clinton and Obama's AG by calling the investigation a Matter. Supposedly afraid of Trump even though he is 6'8 and runs the FBI!

• Trump was not and has not been under investigation at any time.

• Comey would not reveal the information because one of his five advisors were against it. Even though Comey thought it might be a good idea.

• Russia has been trying to influence the election for the past fifty years.

• Russia attempting to influence the election is not related to individuals or parties.

• Russia attempted to influence over 1000 targets both government and non-government.

In Closing. Russia and their attempts would be true if Trump were president or not. It would be true four years ago or sixteen. It is a convenient subject while not related in any way to Trump. Thus Clinton and Trump could equally be guilty of being influenced by Russia. Comey confirmed Flynn and his investigation is separate from the Russia investigation.
