It is beyond infuriating that Christian-dome has made evolution their hill to die on, and I'll tell you why:

The story of Adam and Eve is BETTER read as a metaphor for EVOLUTION than as literal timetable of events.

Evolution is diagrammed as a TREE as any scientist will tell you, and humanity is the most knowledgeable FRUIT on that tree.

Like, that is literally what the diagram of human evolution is.
