Colleges are a good safe haven. They generally have a lgbt center on campus with people you can talk too. I cannot know how bigoted your family or town is, but your caution is warranted. It would be fucked up if you got hurt from opening up. I remember being teased over being openly bi and bleeding out my ass in the bathroom. I’m really fucking sorry for you. No one should have to suffer alone. You may not find someone for a few years, until you are out of your parent’s house. You may get lucky and find someone who cares about you in your school or neighborhood. I wish you a companion, a friend, a lover, in your life as soon as possible. I’m so sorry.
