I used to be terrified of bees until I took a Bee class at my university and now, meet my new friends !

Thats not at all what i was implying... i was just attempting to translate or personify basic instincts. I was trying to figure out if bees are aware that they can use their stinger and know beforehand that it will be a fight to the death, or if the instinct is simply "STING" and then moments later theyre dead. Its pretty obvious that if bees did have a language it wouldnt resemble ours like that. Thats... a very disney/pixar mindset. I picture it more as a sort of "will" where picking pollen would feel satisfying like how scratching your ankles after you take your socks off is wicked satisfying. Or that having to sting someone would create a dread similar to what one might feel if they had to jump off a sinking ship into the ocean. Perhaps i am giving bees too much credit, and i should think of it as instinct and not intellect.
