[vent] don't act superior just because my dog has issues, especially not when you completely ignored my request to leash your dog and not let him approach mine.

I don't recognize people telling me to not got dog parks when no one else is there like "helping me".

in the Quote: replace the , with a . .... I actually was refering to the area with strong leash laws since we hardly meet people in the dog park. While the nature preserve, parks etc are off leash dogs everywhere. that also is the reason imho people hardly ever are in the dog park, they simply use all other places to walk their dog, so there is no need for them to go to a dog park in the first place.

Again, I actually go to the dog park because it's the least stressful situation (because no off leash dogs) .

all parks and nature preserve: off leash dogs everywhere. Beach: even more off leash dogs (especially during swimming season when the actual dog beach is just a 25m long part of the beach).

Hell, even when I walk my dog on the side walk we sometimes meet people with off leash dogs.

Sure, I could walk my dog only next to busy roads.

I once met a behaviorist in the dog park... he encouraged me to take off the leash, dog was perfectly fine with his intact male, pretty much ignored him and since he was not overly pushy. he was telling me my dog would act pretty deescalating even.
