It was super upsetting day today— so my aunt and her family are very covid crazy. They wore masks during Christmas, and they haven’t really left their house for months.
Anyways, I thought we had a breakthrough when they basically invited themselves over for Mother’s Day. Well they found out we haven’t been vaccinated yet and flipped out.
They don’t want to “risk” it because they don’t want to get their coworkers sick.... like we’re cretins or something. It’s so hurtful— my parents have vaccine appointments for next week and I’m not even eligible to receive one yet!
I wish I wasn’t related to these people, my poor mother is so hurt because of this. How fucking disgusting can you get as a human being.
