The Verge Co-Founder Calls Ben Shapiro ‘The Jew Who Helps Other Jews Onto the Train’

There is a stark difference between being well-researched and prepared to discuss a certain topic and a gish gallop. The former would be someone like Jordan Peterson, another person that I don't fully agree with all the time but I respect, the latter would be Ben Shapiro. When I watch discussions with Jordan Peterson he is very methodical and well-thought out without throwing out a ton of facts/opinions/figures/stats/etc off the top of his head, only to expect you to successfully process everything that was just scattershot at you and come up with a coherent response in a timely manner. It isn't that it is a dishonest style of debate, just intentionally designed to catch you off guard in the hopes that you'll be flustered by the deluge of information and respond incorrectly/stumble over words/etc.

This is even more evident when Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro sit down and have their own discussions, though it isn't as bad simply because Peterson and Shapiro agree on so much that Shapiro tends to STFU more when talking to him.
