Virginia becomes first southern US state to ban hair discrimination

I’ve worked with lots of black people who have neat, natural hair. In fact, black people usually have nicer and more “put together” hair than white people (I work in a female dominated industry, so this mainly applies to women I work with). Whether it’s in nice braids or a clean afro or straightened or curled or a wig/extensions, they always style their hair and look put together.

Who are the people complaining?! I can’t even remember a time I saw a professional black person with bedhead or hair that wasn’t styled nicely.

(Unless they dye it an unnatural color like magenta or blue, the corporate higher ups don’t like that, but magenta/blue hair gets the axe for everyone).
