I was originally prescribed opiates at the age of 13.... In february I'll be 3 years clean from heroin, the only reason I could stop was because I never started banging that shit. Tell me how I was supposed to know what I was using at 13. The opiate epidemic is profitable and that's the only reason it hasn't been stopped. You probably already know an opiate addict. A lot of us go unnoticed to an extent. Doctors, business men, etc. I got high with a lot of people. You feel very functual on it for a long time and then one day the addiction outweighs your ability to perform your normal tasks. Its such an easy trap to fall into it's crazy, especially with the new trend of "opiates are cool," from this generation of rap. Just watch, it'll get worse.
