Wanted to try my hand at 3D modelling and rendering. Why not start with overwatch?!

Oh, sorry I agree it's confusing and i apologise. Was responding to comments in a rush yesterday. The reason i said that is because that model is basically an in-game mesh anyways. Yeah the artist might've re-topo'd her and given her a base for easier 3D-printing, but I'm like 99% sure he got her from in-game.

The reason i said this is because i did actually have the in Game 3D model, to take some assets from/ scale/ take proportions for the shoulders from.

I checked the in-game mesh to the guy's work and basically the meshes match up perfectly. Either he did a perfect sculpt or he did some super efficient re-topologisation, I find the latter more plausible. However if he/she actually hand sculpted it themselves then props to them for getting such an accurate looking asset!

I definitely should have been clearer about this though. But in terms of describing my workflow, it's a lot easier to say 'i used a base game model, then modified it' as opposed to 'I got a base game model from some guy, which i'm 99% sure is a base game model, which i then modified'

Does that make sense? I'll post a comment giving him proper credit. I really should have done that earlier. I'm just going to do it to clear up confusion.
