I was watching a Neckbeardia episode about what ruined D&D more Critical Role or Skyrim. Someone put this down and it sound familiar.

I used to feel exactly the same about this but the more I play 2077 the more I'm beginning to disagree. You're right it's packed with things to discover/do but it's mostly visual and barely anything is repeatable unless you make a new character. There's little engagement to it which is why it feels more like a 3d photo engine than a video game, at least in-between quests. So much is just copy-pasted too with some unique assets to trick you into thinking it's different. The NPC's just feel completely lifeless because of repeated animations/poses and disappearing when you move your camera or bad physics if you hit them. They don't need to be another GTA but they need more to make this game feel like a videogame and not a photo engine when you're not doing quests.
