I was addicted to oxys (basically legally prescribed heroin) for years. I found it MUCH easier to quit oxys than to abstain from porn use.

I tried thousands of times to quit, I'm now going to SAA (sex addicts anonymous) meetings, listening to podcasts (porn free radio, recovery 2.0) reading books on the topic (your brain on porn, the porn circuit) and have accountability software on my phone and on my computer that logs any 'highly mature' sites that I visit and sends a list to my accountability partners. I'm 20 days squeaky clean today.

In my opinion, a porn addiction is by far the toughest of the addictions to quit. It's like trying to quit a crack addiction with a loaded crack pipe attached to your body 24/7. If you've tried many times to quit and haven't been successful, maybe you can't do it on your own, maybe you need some help. It could be just a pure porn addiction, or it could be that the porn is being used to medicate or mask negative feelings that are linked to something that happened when you were a child.

You're 25. I'm 43, I threw the last 15 years of my life away, porn will fuck your life up, it'll wreck your ability to be happy with one woman, it'll wreck your ability to be happy with regular life. Do it now, take it seriously, get some help, don't fuck your life up and look back in anguish in fifteen years. It's very easy to "ahhh, why not, just one more time.." for decades.
