World War 1 would have most likely ended in a peace treaty. The war had come to a halt, it was a strong stalemate on both sides.

World War 2 on the other hand...

If I could sacrifice a limb to never hear an American brag about saving Europe ever again...by god take my left arm.

Because if we're talking about historical facts, and not opinions, that's fine.

I just want you to know that Historically speaking, and entirely based on fact, America did not save Europe in World War 2.

It's going to hurt a few of you when you hear this, but by absolutely every count, it is clear as day that Russia was the deciding factor in World War 2.

Russia saved Europe. Not America.
