For my first ex: Take her dancing, take her to the theaters, buy her flowers, buy her plushies but above all, love her. She will love you like no other and she'll make you feel loved everyday. Don't take her for granted.

My most recent ex: She is not ready for you. She is not ready for a relationship. She will give you the signs, and she will lead you on but when it comes to it, she'll close off and push you away. You'll spend weeks figuring out what you did wrong and seeing her become more distant. You're going to question your entire existence and then be told to go away. It happened twice to me. At the end of the day, you didn't do anything wrong. Yes, I know she is an amazing person and is incredibly beautiful, but don't give in.
