Legitimate question, I've heard that there's a HUGE black market for Healthcare in the UK, Israel, Canada, etc. and that people come to the States from all those places for surgery because there's a shortage of competent surgeons in those countries due to there being no incentive to become a surgeon. With your first hand knowledge, is that accurate? Does socialized Healthcare really benefit you all or does it just make it more affordable but lower quality?

Thanks in advance for any answers. I'll be up front, I don't believe Healthcare is a right. I believe it's a good and should have to be paid for but that it is extremely overpriced in the States. I've been dealing with some severe health problems the last couple months and am seeing firsthand how broken our system is, even with Obama's "overhaul" of it. A 30 day supply of power 40mg Omeprazole was $235. Obviously our system isn't working but I also have heard so many negative/mixed things about socialized Healthcare that I'm legitimately wary of it. Just looking for other, better informed opinions.
