What are some downsides to living in New Zealand?

Honestly, bullying in this country is pretty bad from my experience. If you consider yourself to be a quiet person who keeps to themselves, you're probably going to be bullied by someone at some point wither it be physically or mentally. And there's not much you can do about it, if you try to do something about it, someone is going to tell you "don't rock the boat, just let it slide" Also the mob mentality in this country is bad, we are turning into a "you're with us or against us" and "It's time to pick sides" country and I hate it. Growing up I feel as though people used to be pretty accepting of things, you could also talk about things in a well rounded way and not be labelled something negative. I was talking to some people about how I considered voting national a couple of elections back because they were talking about making rural broadband a thing and I got called some pretty harsh things... they wouldn't even let me finish my sentences, I just got yelled at and called names. and partially thanks to the internet we now see some bad mob mentality. Also it seems like we want to be like america really badly and I don't get it.
