What are some good, safe, appropriate YT channels?

In general we veer away from any kids services ,YT kids and the likes, because they tend to be filled with things we don’t care for. We are cool with a blend of educational and non educational. Instead, we use one of our accounts (I recommend YT premium for no commercials if you can) and subscribe to channels. You can go to your history, so long as you have it turned on, and see what they watch too just as a friendly reminder. Our rule is to only pick videos from under subscribed channels or ask before clicking something that seems interesting and new. We regularly monitor and watch with too.

Some of the channels we watch are: sci show kids, sci show, Ted ed, it’s aumsum time, crash course, kurzgesagt, Dan TDM, miniature cooking, animal planet, the info graphics show, nemours kids health, mark Rober, jungle survival, Thinknoodles, brew, pbs eons, nat geo, gonoodle, the dodo, grandpa kitchen, peekaboo kidz, kids learning tube, silly school songs, Pusheen the cat, art for kids hub, free documentary, History, Cosmic Kids Yoga, and I could go on but really it’s all a matter of preference. Some of the channels I’ve listed other parents would not be ok with some of the more mature info content so be sure to really go over every channel to see what they are all about. Happy browsing! We love YouTube!
