What are Tulsi Gabbard's chances in 2020?

Her foreign policy approach runs counter to the current Democratic majority however I agree she's being somewhat underestimated. She is also one of the candidates that will not project as a poor stage actor at rallies/debates which could gain legitimate appeal. It's a superficial thing to look at but the electorate shows it matters every primary season. I think she could either gain legit momentum or become a top VP choice. She's one of the unsung progressives in the House really running at her own accord. If Bernie somehow doesn't run, she could also gain a lot of his supporters IMO.

Front runners are likely to be Harris, Klobuchar, Gillibrand. I don't think Warren or Booker have legit shots, just my gut on those two, they seem too manufactured. Harris does as well but she has a certain bite to her that will be appealing.

My darkhorse duo to come out of the field would be a Klobuchar-Gabbard ticket.
