What has been your greatest find in a charity shop?

I work in a charity shop and we have “regulars” who flick through absolutely everything. They are reselling/upselling online for higher prices. Good on them but we kinda want the charity to benefit. We have brand lists to price the clothing, shoes and handbags to help us price properly. We push all our gold jewellery and LPs to trusted experts.

The biggest discounts will be on large stuff, normally from house clearances that we want to move quickly like luggage, dinner sets and large toys.

The other random bargain can be upmarket handbags. If the donater says it’s real then we’ll price higher but if we just find it in a big sack we price low in case it’s a fake.
