What is the biggest everyday scam that people put up with?

Taxes.

Specifically sales tax/VAT. My government also loves to add excise duty with VAT on top of VAT on certain products.
So If I buy let's say electronics I pay first of all income tax around 40% before I get the money in my bank account. Then VAT 25% then excise duty (depends on the weight of the product, they also call it "chemical tax" lol) let's say a flat 30€ duty fee and VAT 25% on top of that.

So wrap it all up if an electronics gadget costs 100€ tax-free I'm paying 40€ income tax, 25€ VAT, 30€ duty, 7.5€ VAT on duty fee. Grand total of 202.5€. Yeah... That's socialist Sweden for you.

Why the hell should I need to pay taxes on taxes on taxes when I buy things with money that I've already taxed? Oh and the real kicker is if you didn't think we taxed enough. My employer has to pay extra taxes just to employ me which is around 15% of my annual income which is called "Employer tax". Employers always take that into the equation when discussing salary so, in reality, it's 15% of tax extra from my salary that I pay in taxes indirectly.

Might as well live off welfare like half of this country who are parasites of the system. There was a calculation made by a political party here that if you are a family with 4 children and live off welfare you get a slightly higher income than the national median salary.
