It was Gym class, and we were playing kick ball, and these two girls on the opposite team were arguing every fucking play. The game was stalled out, and my team lost because we were down a point when class ended.

They were all sunshine when we were leaving class, bragging about winning and I bitterly said "Well, maybe we would have won if you hadn't spent the whole game bitching." Uh oh.

One girl went berserk. Grabbed my shirt and starting swinging at me, her hands were like claws.

Now, I was taught one rule by my dad: If a woman hits you, you hit her back. Which is fine to say when you are in a theoretical void with nobody else watching, but I was in the middle of class and all eyes were on us. The only thing running through my mind was "If I run, I'm a coward. If I swing, I'm a brute." so I froze up and sat down on the floor. She was still swinging at me, pulling at my collar.

When we were called into the office, I wound up getting a lecture too, I did swear and insult her after all. I don't remember if either of us were really punished though.

Thank god we were both middle-schoolers though, the only damage was my shirt, completely ruined, collar was large enough to fit a neck and shoulder out.
