Krul in goal, obviously.

Coloccini and Dummett are probably the best centre-backs we have. Williamson's not good enough and will never improve. Dummett may make the occasional mistake but at least he's young and talented. Williamson is neither. Steven Taylor's not even worth talking about as he's out for the season; but if he were fit, I'd play him over Dummett.

Janmaat and Haidara as full backs for sure. I would of said Santon a few days ago but what can you do, for some reason we're loaning out our best defenders for the future. They must be confident with Haidara and Dummett's recent performances.

Colback and Tiote in the middle. But I would be happy with Colback being rotated with Abied depending on opponent, as Abied seems to be full of energy and has a good pass.

Cabella on the left and Sissoko on the right for sure. They're both very fast and tricky, we need players like that in our team. Of course we also have a seemingly re-energised Gabriel Obertan coming back soon, with Rolando Aarons too -- so we have options on the wings which is always important. Gouffran and Ameobi are also options, Ameobi seems to be a decent impact player coming off the bench.

Just behind the striker I'd play de Jong, I see him as a vital part of our team. After the window when we brought him in, Cabella was obviously exciting to see but I was really more excited about de Jong. I think he will add volumes to our team. I'm not positive but I am quite sure he can do a job right in the middle as well. So maybe if we wanted to play Sissoko behind the striker, Cabella and Obertan on the wings, we could remove Colback and play de Jong in the middle with Tiote, slightly more advanced.

Perez and Cisse up front. Perez finds it hard alone and Cisse's OK at hold-up. They both have qualities that in my head will work well together. I think Cisse's a pure confidence player, and Perez's ball control and ability is off the charts; we should be playing that kid as much as we possibly can.
