Elo hell most definitely does exists for some players. The only people that say it doesn't exist are people who have never had to deal with low elo..I've been playing league since season 1 with nearly 3000 Normal Wins and less than 150 total ranked games played in 5 years because of the simple fact that elo hell does in fact exist. not to the extent that some players say where "All my teammates feed and I can't carry them" which is a half truth because League is in fact..A TEAM GAME. And no matter what unless your a top tier challenger player you can't carry games 1v5. The reason I say elo hell exists is because of these reasons. 1.Everyone in low elo thinks they're in elo hell. Which results in most players developing a toxic attitude towards their teammates and flaming and blaming everyone else over small mistakes made and nine times out of ten this results in a flame war where players refuse to cooperate with eachother.and since they believe they are better than everyone else... 2. Most players refuse to take advice, listen to calls and pings etc. and take any small means of criticism as a direct insult which leads to flaming and arguing extremely quickly. 3. Players easily tilt when they do remotely bad. Lots of the time this will result in players giving up completely and no longer trying and since lots of said players have no faith in their team they may flat out leave because they think they "can no longer carry this team"

All of this combined with the obvious reasons for being in low elo (just flat out not being good at the game) results in what I believe is "elo hell". While these traits are obviously shared in all elo they are especially prominent in low elo divisions. When you get a team where 2 or 3 people are fighting with each other all game and refusing to work together and 1 or 2 people who are so far behind that they are virtually non existent it becomes damn near impossible to "carry your team" like most people in Plat or higher tell lower ranked players constantly. And before people start flaming me telling me I'm just bad or such I really don't play ranked at all and I'm content with playing normals but these are the things I've observed happen nearly every game in the few ranked games I have played in my years in this game.
