"What kind of Muslims are these people? They don't have any religion, their only religion is terrorism," Bangladeshi PM Hasina said in a speech after the attack.

And those KKK members say they got their inspiration from a bible that permits and justifies slavery.

the KKK I believe just hate black people honestly, they're using a specific area of the Bible to support this, they're not at all instituting the laws of Christianity on the land, or really care about it.

ISIS on the other institute everything found in their books, they're not only attacking the western world as revenge, they're attacking simply anyone who's not a Sunni Muslim, they've committed outright genocide against Yazidis and Christians even though these people never harmed them in any way, it's just because they're non-Muslims. They've brought back slavery and sex slavery, they've instituted hardline dresscode and banned entertainment, and much more. As you can see they're not merely using Islam as a justification to attack the western world.

Of course it's a perverse interpretation, but saying that the Koran is to blame for groups like ISIS is the same as blaming the bible for groups like the KKK.

here's where it gets complicated, the basis of ISIS actions are rarely found in the Quran , they're found in the hadith reports and the Sunnah, actions of the Salaf and Fiqh, and opinions of the scholars, they're found on the Muslim tradition. It's not that they're coming up with a different interpretation of the text, they're using what's already there, it's hard to misinterpret Quran actually when you add the hadith and the Muslim tradition to it, unlike Christianity, Islam doesn't rely solely on the Quran.

Which is simply not going to happen, and terror attacks aren't going to win a war against the rest of the world.

I know, but that their goal, and they're ready to fight for it even if it's impossible, since they think they'd become martyrs and enter paradise, They're crazy fanatics and you cannot reason with them.

Look at the mentality of the people in this thread - they're ready to crucify muslims in general. They're not blaming a small group of people, they're blaming Islam as a whole.

blaming Islam is one thing, and blaming Muslims is another, getting these intentionally mixed up to dismiss criticism is common tactic, Islam obviously and undeniably has a problem within it, and it needs to be sorted out and refuted by Muslim scholars and theologians, or else this ideology isn't going to stop.
